Our Interleague A team are through to the final of the London Interleague Cup after beating the Barchester & District League 7–4 in the semi-final. Sherlock Holmes and Long John Silver won all four of their frames between them. The final is next month against the Casterbridge League.

Interleague B did well to reach the semi-finals, where they lost a close match 6–7 to Casterbridge. Well done to everyone who played for both teams.

Update: the final will be played at The Tabard Inn. Come along and support the team.

A burst water main has flooded part of Millbank, but Toad Hall is open as usual and this week's home matches will go ahead. Please use the entrance on the river side. Ratty has kindly offered to row anyone across who'd rather not get their feet wet.

The committee has turned down a request from Count Dracula for The Golden Krone A's home matches to start at midnight. All matches will continue to start at the published time.

The George & Vulture now hosts four teams, The George & Vulture A to D. Venue-mates in the same division are never at home on the same night, so there's always a table free for the visitors.

Ebenezer Scrooge would like to remind all captains that subs are due by the end of the month. He would also like it known that he does not accept IOUs, promissory notes or "next week".

If you need to postpone a match, let me know at least 48 hours beforehand and agree a new date with the other captain. Postponed matches must be played within three weeks.

Mr Toad of Toad Hall has been fined by the committee after arriving at last week's match in a motor-car, at speed, across the car park flower beds. Ratty has promised it won't happen again.
